About

My name is Caleb Posner, and I am a student of History and Political Science at Washington University in St Louis, having transferred here from Case Western Reserve University.

As of Spring 2009, I write for the Washington Witness, the school’s only conservative/libertarian publication. My writings specific to the Balkans can also be found on Serbianna, where I am a columnist. Until recently, I wrote for Student Life, where my more weekly column “International Affairs with Caleb Posner” was run. Prior to that, I had a column entitled “Unpopular Reason with Caleb Posner” that ran every other week in the Case Western Observer. Beyond my work for the aforementioned publications, I do freelance writing, and have had articles featured in a range of publications (such as Arutz Sheva and OneWorld) on a non-regular basis.

I am the founder and President of the Washington University Students Against Dhimmitude, which seeks to educate the local community about the threat posed by jihad, sharia, and other tools of Islamic cruelty. Furthermore, I serve as the Events Manager of the Conservative Leadership Association. At Case Western Reserve University, I was the founding president of the Case Non-Partisan Israel Movement, whose purpose was to counter the overwhelming and vile anti-Israel rhetoric that dominated campus discourse.

Previously, I served as the North American Volunteer Coordinator for Americans Against Hate and as a Student Liaison for the Florida Security Council.

I have been called a rising star by Julia Gorin, and my writings have been twice featured on Atlas Shrugs. I have also been linked to by the Brussels Journal, De-Construct, IsraPundit, Jihad Watch, Political Mavens, Republican Riot, Snapped Shot, and Sultan Knish among others.

In my capacity as a political activist, I have been interviewed by Al-Sahafa, Cleveland Jewish News, KSIV Christian Radio of St Louis, and WJCU Cleveland alongside a number of student publications at various universities.
